Consequently, the need for skilled and highly trained workforce is of vital importance. This requirement leads to the introduction of Bachelor of Computer Science specializing in Computer Graphics and Multimedia program.The above mentioned and comprehensive programme provides a thorough treatment in the field of computer graphics, multimedia as well as in simulation and virtual reality. In line with the objective of providing highly trained workforce in computer graphics and multimedia engineers, short courses in various related fields and applications are also offered periodically.

Graduates from this area of study, can choose between positions in Modelling & Computational Industry and the "standard" computer science fields, among these are:
Computer Graphics Engineer, Multimedia Engineer, Computer Programmer, Software Project Manager, System Analyst, Network Engineer (Graphics), System Integrator, Application Programmer, Computer Manager, Web Development Engineer, Animation Development Engineer, and Technopreneur.

      Entry Requirements
      STPM / KPM Matriculation or equivalent
      Passed SPM / SPMV / STPM / Matriculation or equivalent with credit in Bahasa Melayu.
      • Grade C (NGMP 2.00) in Pengajian Am/ Kertas AM, AND 
      • Grade C (NGMP 2.00) in TWO (2) other subjects. 
      Attended Malaysian University English Test (MUET).
      Passed Grade C (NGMP 2.00) in Mathematics/ Advanced Mathematics/ Computing AND 
      Passed Grade C (NGMP 2.00) in at least TWO (2) of these subjects: 
      Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
      Passed with credit in Mathematics at SPM level or equivalent. 
      KPM Matriculation/ Asasi Sains UM/ Asasi Undang-Undang KPTM
      Passed SPM or equivalent with credit in Bahasa Melayu.
      Passed KPM Matriculation/ Asasi Sains UM/ Asasi Undang-Undang KPTM with at least PNGK 2.00 AND 
      Attended Malaysian University English Test (MUET).
      Science Stream
      Passed at least Grade C (2.00) in Mathematics
      Passed at least Grade C (2.00) in Accounting.
      Passed with credit in Mathematics at SPM level or equivalent.
      Art Stream
      Passed at least Grade B (3.00) in Mathematics AND
      Passed at least Grade C (2.00) in Accounting.
      Passed with credit in Mathematics at SPM level or equivalent.
      Diploma
      Passed in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or equivalent with credit in Bahasa Melayu / Bahasa Malaysia
      Obtained Diploma or other institutions recognized by Malaysian government and approved by the University Senate
      Attended Malaysian University English Test (MUET).
      Candidate who have Diploma in Computer Science from UTM or equivalent with at least PNGK 2.50 OR
      Candidates who have PNGK less than 2.50 but at least 2 years of working experience in the related fields can apply.
      Passed with credit in Mathematics at SPM level or equivalent OR at least Grade C in one mathematics subjects in Diploma level.
      Candidates are required to send the complete test results during diploma (from first semester to last semester) to UTM. Candidates are also required to sent a copy of the diploma or surat pengesahan tamat pengajian.

      Year1
      Programming Technique I, Digital Logic, Technology & Information System, Computational Mathematics, Hubungan Ethnik, English for Academic, Communications, Programming Technique II, Computer Organization & Architecture, Network Communication, Human Computer Interaction, Database, Tamadun Islam & Tamadun Asia (TITAS), Co-Curriculum.
      Year 2
      Data Structure & Algorithm, Operating System, Artificial Intelligence, Fundamental of Computer Graphics, Object Oriented Programming, Islam & Current Issues, Software Engineering, Modeling & Simulation, Geometric Modeling , Multimedia Web Programming , Advanced English for Academic Communications, Elective UHS, Co-Curriculum.
      Short Term (Mei Semester): Application Development.
      Year 3
      Theory of Computer Science, Interactive Computer Graphics, Fundamental of Image Processing , Elective Subject, B. Comp. Sc Project I, Elective English, Elective Foreign Language, Information Technology Entrepreneurship, Multimedia Networking , Computer Games , Multimedia Data Processing , B. Comp Sc. Project II
